23 year old Emiphas Muchangi grew up in Nyeri County, Kenya. He previously had a job selling phone lines which was tiresome and yielded little returns. In the search for new opportunities, his friend introduced him to the Google Digital Skills program where he learnt about digital, blogging, social media and creating video content for YouTube. After the training, Emiphas had the idea to utilize what he had learnt to solve the problem of access to information for farmers in Nyeri County.

The social media and YouTube channels he created have generated a lot of engagement and have been helpful to farmers within and outside the county. With Google Digital Skills, Emiphas sees the possibility of creating more impact in his community and improving the prosperity of farmers in the next five years.
