    Kenya-China Development Ties: Kenya inks digital transformation agreement with Huawei – David Esabwa

    In Beijing, President Uhuru Kenyatta has witnessed the signing of a digital transformation agreement with Huawei. The two parties will collaborate to build a government cloud infrastructure. The agreement details how Huawei will help Kenya develop the infrastructure necessary for government cloud services, migrate government data and applications, and create a platform for state departments to share data and better communicate. Kenyatta says this will help provide a one-window-style solution for government services – ultimately improving efficiency.
